From Papo, the albatross figurine, hand-painted.
The albatross, known for being the bird with the largest wingspan, lives in the ocean south of the Tropic of Cancer and in the North Pacific. It uses the wind to its advantage and can therefore travel long distances without effort. Its diet is composed essentially of fish, calamari, or krill that it finds on the water’s surface. Interesting to know - once an albatross finds a mate, they are faithful for life!
