After a gestation period of 4 months, the lioness can bring into the world up to 4 little ones, who, during the first few days of their life will be blind and entirely dependent on their mama.Until they are 4 weeks old, they are kept apart from the other lions and feed solely on their mother's milk. After that, they mingle with the rest of their pride.
